If I had it to do all over again, of course I wouldn't have gotten fat!  But I did and I lost it and got healthy.  It was a long and difficult journey.  I want very much to make a difference in this world and I believe my weight loss can help me do that.  When I can help another person to get healthy, lose weight and improve their life, it gives my own journey meaning. 

Help me to add meaning to my journey – help me to lose 1,000 pounds!  812 pounds so far!  Once we make it to that milestone, we'll set another one and go even higher!

We are currently suffering from an obesity epidemic.  It’s all over the news nearly every day.  Our children are the first generation in decades that is not expected to live longer than their parents.  This just breaks my heart.  Let’s work together to change that trend!

Please contact me via E-mail and I'll add you to my list of fellow “Losers”.  You can then update your progress from time-to-time as you go.  It's free, informal and strictly "honor system".  I want to get enough “Losers” together with enough weight lost to reach these goals.  This will at least be a good start in breaking this nasty epidemic.   I’ve even set a deadline – let’s do it by 2010.
